As I mentioned in an earlier post, my baby cousin Jake also known as "Body by Jake," left for Grandmas house barefoot. So in dedication of this holiday memory, I wrote a Soem-Poem about it. And here it is.
Little Boy Jake,
filled with holiday cheer
Ready for Grandmas,
For Christmas was here!
filled with holiday cheer
Ready for Grandmas,
For Christmas was here!
With a scarf in his hands
And a smile on his face
He ran to the car.
Like he was running a race.
And a smile on his face
He ran to the car.
Like he was running a race.
Buckled up in his seat,
He was not going to snooze.
For he kept repeating these words
“We have no time to loose"
He was not going to snooze.
For he kept repeating these words
“We have no time to loose"
Three hours had passed
And it was ten before two.
Jake had made it to Grandmas.
But had forgotten his shoes.
And it was ten before two.
Jake had made it to Grandmas.
But had forgotten his shoes.
